Since the early days of our church we have felt the call of God to regularly emphasize the care of orphans to our congregation. We count it a privilege to have many in our church body who have taken up the call to adopt, foster, sponsor and support the underprivileged orphans of our region and around the world.
As an effort to aid more families through their journey of orphan care, below we have created a list of organizations, websites and resources to help give you some actionable steps toward supporting orphans in a way that God may be calling you. FOSTER CARE:
In the state of Mississippi alone there are over 5,000 children in the foster care system. Over 200 of those live in Desoto, Tate & Marshall counties.

Rescue 100 is committed to recruiting, training and supporting foster families who provide loving homes for children in the Mississippi foster care system. There is a Rescue 100 Orientation Session coming up at Longview Point Church on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 — 6-7 p.m.
