New to Redeemer Church? Want to find out more about us before you go all in? Our next Connect Night is just for you. It's just a casual hangout for you to get an idea of who we are and what we're all about.
This Connect Night is a cookout at the home of Wes & Katie Glass. We'll throw some things on the grill and have a fun time to just get to know one another. Don't worry about bringing anything with you. Some of our Pastors and staff will be there as well as some of our members. Feel to bring any of your family or friends!
To get directions or ask any questions, text or call Pastor Ben at 901.484.2790
Redeemer Baptist is a key supporter of the Olive Branch Food Pantry. Along with our pastors serving as staff members of the Pantry, our church serves through this ministry several times a month.
These serve nights are basic. We gather at the food pantry and pack carts of food and home supplies for the families that need them. The simple touch of bringing a warm smile and a friendly helping hand to these people of Desoto County can be a tremendous blessing to them. We believe God is calling us to serve his Kingdom in this way. We're confident that if you join us for one night you will feel God's grace in a powerful way.
If you have any questions about serving at the Food Pantry, feel free to contact us!
All members are encouraged to join us at our next Member's Meeting to discuss important items in the life of our church. We will meet Sunday, January 17th at 6 p.m. at the Middle School in the place of community groups.
If you are not yet a member of Redeemer, but are interested in becoming one, reach out to Pastor Ben to find out more information and receive one of our Membership Packets.
Our Community Groups will be serving and supporting our town at the annual Fall Fest. This includes helping with booth setups, passing out information about Redeemer, and hosting games and candy stations for the kids. For complete information about how your Community Group is participating, contact your group leader or one of our pastors.
Sow and Tether will be performing a free community-wide concert on Saturday night, September 26th at the Slab in Old Towne. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm and end by 9:00 pm. We're expecting a pretty big turnout, and seating is very limited, so you might want to bring a lawn chair. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors out, or simply to meet people in the city!
Redeemer Baptist Church is moving from the Olive Branch High School to the Olive Branch Middle School. September 6th is the first Sunday we will gather in the newly-renovated auditorium of the Middle School.
The Sunday before our launch day we will be moving all of our resources and equipment to the new space. All of our Community Groups will meet at the High School at 3 p.m. to help transfer items. This will take the place of our regular meeting times for that evening. We will have accommodations for children to be taken care of.
Please contact your Community Group leader to see how you can best help with the move. If you have a truck or a trailer we would greatly appreciate it's availability.
