Summer Montana Mission Trip

Montana Mission Trip

July 21-27 2020

In 2019, Redeemer Baptist Church took their very first organized, team mission trip to Arlee Montana. Arlee is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation and is home to Garrett & Ann Brewer, a former Redeemer staff family that we love greatly. This year we’re excited to return to Arlee to partner with the Brewers in serving the people on the reservation.

The July 2020 trip will involve hosting a second year of Camp Rambler - a daytime camp for kids and young teens. At the camp they will experience Gospel teaching, games, crafts and other activities based on the Family Bible Camp model that we’ve built at Redeemer.

The trip will also include sight-seeing, attending local community events and a day-trip to Glacier National Park.

Lodging will be provided at Jocko Valley Baptist Church. Separate guys/girls rooms. Couples rooms if available. Bedding and air mattresses will be provided and showers/restrooms are on-site. No hotel accommodations will be provided on this trip.

This trip is limited to 14 people, due to transportation and logistics. Signups are based on the first 14 to submit their deposit of $150. So sign up now!

A second mission trip to Montana is being planned for Fall 2020. More details will be released soon!

Family Bible Camp

FBC_web.jpg

June 4-6 | 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Olive Branch Middle School

One of our greatest desires as a church is to equip parents to lead their children to a growing knowledge of God and His Word. But this is not always something that comes naturally for young moms and dads. No matter how hard we try, we sometimes feel poorly equipped to teach our kids the things of the Spirit.

Family Bible Camp is for both children and their parents. As the kids enjoy a fun, educational set of experiences just for them, parents will be offered instruction and encouragement in their discipleship roles at home.

Each evening we will offer an optional meal for those who can come early, then we will worship as families for a short time before breaking into sessions for age groups. Children will have time for Bible lessons, crafts, games and music. Nursery is also available for 0-2 yrs.

Nightly Schedule (Tentative)

5:30-6:30 - Dinner (optional)

6:30 - Family Worship

7:00 - Sessions for Parents & Children

Registration is now closed. We’ll see you there!

Will you serve?

We also need caring, dedicated volunteers that will serve in our children’s areas so that young parents can enjoy the sessions that we are offering for them. You must be 18 or older to serve in our children's classes and pass a background check if you have not before. Lesson plans and instructions will be provided for you.

Volunteers will be scheduled through Signup Genius. Please read the full instructions on the signup page.

Food Pantry Serve Night

Food Pantry Serve Night

Redeemer Baptist is a supporter of the Olive Branch Food Pantry and our church serves through this ministry on a regular schedule.

These serve nights are basic. We gather at the food pantry and pack carts of food and home supplies for the families that need them. The simple touch of bringing a warm smile and a friendly helping hand to these people of Desoto County can be a tremendous blessing to them. We believe God is calling us to serve his Kingdom in this way. We're confident that if you join us for one night you will feel God's grace in a powerful way.

If you have any questions about serving at the Food Pantry, feel free to contact us!

Moving Day

Redeemer Baptist Church is moving from the Olive Branch High School to the Olive Branch Middle School. September 6th is the first Sunday we will gather in the newly-renovated auditorium of the Middle School.

The Sunday before our launch day we will be moving all of our resources and equipment to the new space. All of our Community Groups will meet at the High School at 3 p.m. to help transfer items. This will take the place of our regular meeting times for that evening. We will have accommodations for children to be taken care of.

Please contact your Community Group leader to see how you can best help with the move. If you have a truck or a trailer we would greatly appreciate it's availability.
